Slack users will benefit from ChatGPT's renowned writing capabilities, allowing them to effortlessly draft messages with AI assistance.

Furthermore, users can easily stay updated on their conversations through AI-generated custom summaries, available for both channels and threads.

In addition, the app will feature an in-app research portal, granting users access to ChatGPT's research capabilities without leaving the platform or using an external search engine.

Although the collaboration is currently in beta testing and not available to the public, interested individuals can join the OpenAI Slack app waitlist to request beta testing access. To be considered for early access, the waitlist form requires users to provide their intended use case for the OpenAI Slack app.
